Prince gave his approval onperforming at the upcoming Coachella Music Festival near Palm Springs later this month, and now we’re told how and why his appearance came into fruition.
“Prince was a late addition to the line-up,” a source tells us. “The promoters added him to try and sell more tickets and make up for a less than stellar - in comparison to years past - roster of performers.”
You ask how much?
“He was paid close to $4 million.”
Bang! 4 mil a night!

After a disasterous last album, wich sold only 44.000 copies in US, Brian Adams decicded that he needs some publicity stunt to get his new album selling. His next album, “11″, will be released in the United States on May 13th exclusively via Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club stores.
Now thats a nice way to get some money out of the album!

The YouTube’s Best Music Video 2007 award goes to creator or the famous hit “Chocolate Rain” Tay Zonday. If you haven’t seen this video already, then you probably have no free time at all. Here’s what the winner says about this:

As i was writing earlier, Britney Spears brand new video was coming up, and now it’s on TV. Accourding to sources it was Britney’s idea to make it anime style, but i really doubt that. Anyway, check it out:

While Britney is rehabing and trying to get healthy, her record label is trying to get some cash from her, even if they can’t use Britney herself. Her latest video, “Break The Ice” wich had to be premiered on MTV, was cancelled earlier and no clip was materialized.
Now they will shoot a new Britney Spears video WITHOUT Britney in it. The clip will feature an animated Britney (scene above).
Good idea, nothing to say!

An American Idol winner, Kelly Clarckson is working on a new album of hers, after almost a disasterous last album “My Decebmer”, wich lead to a big clash with Sony BMG chief Clive Davis, who deemed it less commercial than her previous releases.
Now Kelly is working with Ryan Tedder, the lead singer of OneRepublic, a very talented songwriter/producer/performer. He told that Clarkson’s new songs will feature “big choruses” and “heavy drum programming”.
He also revealed that the songs are influenced by nineties electro-rockers Garbage, while one song, a mid-tempo rock ballad, features an experimental bridge inspired by Mozart.

This may seem strange to some people, but according to trustable sources, Madonna wont be performing in the concert dedicated to her induction to the Hall Of Fame, wich will take place on Monday night.
FOX News reports that Madge has elected to let Iggy Pop, of all people, “serenade” her on her hits, and Justin Timberlake do the toasting honors, but there won’t be any Material Girl in the mix. There’s no word from her rep on why she’s made this decision.

I always knew she will shine up when her brother will leave the stage and probably the country! And seems like i was right!
