After learning that his fiancée Danielle passed away just hours before their wedding, former X Factor contestant Tom Mann claims he is now “totally broken.”
He said that Danielle Hampson, a dancer for acts like Take That and Little Mix and a PR executive, passed away on Saturday.
Mann, whose boy band Stereo Kicks appeared on the programme in 2014, stated, “What was supposed to be the happiest day of our lives ended in permanent grief.”
The reason of death for his 34-year-old spouse has not been made public.
On Monday, he posted a message saying, “I can’t believe I’m writing this, but my beloved Dani – my closest friend, my everything and more, the love of my life – went suddenly in the early hours of Saturday morning.”
“I feel as though I’ve shed a sea of tears. Danielle, I know you know that you were my entire world and the best thing that has ever happened to me, but we never made it to the altar, got to say our vows, or danced our first dance.”
Mann, 28, continued by stating that he must now “use every strength I can conjure” to care for their young boy.
I swear I’ll do all in my power to raise Bowie just how we’ve always wanted, but I won’t be a stain on the father you had already become, he said.
“He will be aware of how extraordinary his mother was, I swear. I swear to make you incredibly proud.”

Before becoming a mother last year, Hampson’s last dance appearance was in the music video for Harry Styles’ 2021 song Treat People With Kindness.
She has also performed in dance on the Spice World 2019 tour and the BBC programme Strictly Come Dancing.
“A lovely soul”
The condolences were led by Spice Girl Emma Bunton, who responded to Mann’s post by saying: “I’m really sad for you. A lovely soul that will endure. I’m considering you all.”
Singer with Take That, Howard Donald, wrote: “The loss of a dancer from [2017 tour] Wonderland has left me speechless. What a stunning and gifted dancer she was.”
Barclay Beales, a former bandmate of Mann, said: “Sending all my love brother very sorry.”
On the programme, the former X Factor contestant’s unique acoustic performance of the Backstreet Boys song I Want It That Way is arguably best recognised.
Following Stereo Kicks, Mann has collaborated with musicians like Lewis Capaldi, Rita Ora, Tate McRae, and Mimi Webb as a songwriter and producer.
On Instagram, Capaldi expressed his support by saying, “I love you brother.”
Musician MNEK said: “terrible news, Tom I’m here for you, sending you so much love and light.”
Ellie Goulding, a different singer, proposed: “I can’t stop thinking about you. You have such power. I’m always here for you. xxx I love you”
